The new Paul & Joe for Target collection is now online! For those of you who have seen it in stores, I'd love to hear what you think. I've liked a few random pieces from all the previous Go International collections (Luella Bartley and Tara Jarmon), but I think this one is a bit more elegant and grown-up, while still having that girly and feminine quality characteristic of Paul & Joe.
I rarely go off of the design + food + fashion track on this blog, but I recently downloaded the new self-titled album by Corinne Bailey Rae and am loving the laid-back soulful sound of her voice. I need to give it a few more rounds before figuring out my favorites, but if you like jazzy, soulful vocals (some happy, some sad), check it out. And, just to sneak in some design commentary, the cover also has some lovely doodles and color combinations...happy friday!
I stopped by Target this morning to run a couple errands and to my surprise, some of the new Paul & Joe pieces were already set up! They had the old Tara Jarmon signs, so it's a bit confusing...but there are definitely some cute pieces I'm spotting already. There were a few I really liked, but could only leave with one small thing...these silky pj shorts in a lovely floral print & lace trim. Very Paul & Joe, indeed. The new line for Go International will be in all Target stores and online August 1st.

I LOVE the new July cards from Port2Port Press and The Card Society. The colors are perfect and I love Maria's use of white on white pressed florals mixed with the color florals.
This cool new soda was featured in today's Daily Candy, but I had to give it some extra love and attention for the sleek packaging and tasty flavors. Carbonated with fine champagne-style bubbles and sweetened with a small amount of pure cane sugar, Dry Soda combines the subtle essences of nature and ingredients from the kitchen in its four unique flavors of kumquat, rhubarb, lemongrass and lavender. They currently only sell at restaurants in Washington, California, and Oregon, but it can be purchased online here...
I just had to post a couple more! The Collection has its very own collection of wall coverings & wall paper created just for the store, which are breath-taking and lovely. The ones below are by Sophie Cordey for the Collection.
I am absolutely LOVING the wallpaper collection from The Collection, a Paris-based shop and online site featuring up and coming designers in Europe.
