These parasols are made from vintage sari panels, and would be gorgeous for a wedding or party. They're not cheap, but $100 from the purchase of each parasol goes to the learn to the Live Foundation, to benefit educating young women in rural india. From Jayson Home & Garden...

This is interesting...
Here in India, the 'Pipli Applique' from Orissa on parasols is quite popular and probably not as expensive if you pick it up from the crafts fairs.
