These tea sets by Christine Misiak are simply gorgeous. Christine removes the desired components from the old sets then cleans, files,
sands, and solders them to bodies that she made heself,
therefore creating a mixture of old and new. In the orange sets, she works to restore and clean them, and where necessary, fix broken
parts, then applies color to them to make them desirable again. She celebrates the imperfection by making a new handle for the tea pot out of a contrasting material..in this case, wood.
I LOVE these!

I love the mix of modern and traditional (especially the use of colours...beautiful!)

I love both colors, the chartreuse is really bright and would light up any table!

I love the idea of taking something old fashioned and putting a moden twist on it. Very subtle, very beautiful!
