I posted a snippet of work yesterday by Australian artist Catherine Swan and wanted to share this beautiful paper butterfly piece that seems to be her signature work. The butterflies are hand-cut from vintage magazines between the 50s and 60s evoking a nostalgic array of colors.

This is a wonderful idea to make oneself!

Why $1150? I can make that myself and to my liking, not understanding the price at all....it just irks me. I agree Jan!

My daughter & I made these the other night with solid color construction paper - they look beautiful and they took all of 20 minutes to create!
