ige mobiles
I had the chance to see Helene Ige's new gorgeous laser-cut bird house and bird cage mobiles at last August's Gift Show in New York. The bird cages and house can be hung on a tall stand which Ige also sells. {Note: the images shown here are flat illustrations of what the laser-cut paper looks like.} Now they're available for purchase on her site! The mobile with stand makes a stunning and graphic statement.

I'll have to visit her shop. I love this post and the one below about the soaps. Just really lovely stuff.

Joy...I'm a bit confused...? Can't tell from the pics, but is the stand, well, free-standing? And the sweet little cage hang off of this? Thanks for any clarification :)
LOVE the look of them though!

I just added that clarification to the post..it's confusing since i am not showing a photo, but an illo!

I love the illustrations themselves. I think they would make lovely prints to frame and matte with a simple aluminum black frame. Lovely and graphic.

These are so lovely. I first saw them in the window of a shop in Charlottesville, Va. called rock paper scissors (http://www.thinkrockpaperscissors.com), which I discovered also sells online.
