I love this start to the first "currently loving..." of 2008 with Lisa Congdon's gorgeous collection of mini photos...
WHO...Lisa Congdon, San Francisco-based artist and co-owner/gallery director at Rare Device.
CURRENTLY LOVING...Tiny vintage one inch photos. I collect them at antique malls and flea markets. Someday I am going to do something amazing with all of them when I have over 500! I love how delicate they are, the expressions on the faces of the people in the photographs, the sepia tones of aged film. Mostly, I love the way they look hung together.

what a fabulous idea!
{happy new year!}

ooh, I love them too!
I offer some of them with my pieces, along with a shortstory written about the person on the photo, that we don't know...

Lisa Congdon is the absolute coolest. The company I work at just licensed a bunch of her images for magnets, and she is such a pleasure to work with--so creative and smart.

I love it! Such a great display. And vintage photos are the best, like little stories waiting to be told.

Oh how interesting. So many nice photos. So many stories behind them. Lovely!

I love them! Old photos are the best. It's almost like things come out more interestingly when you only get one shot. Don't get me wrong, I love my digital camera but these are great!
