wearable marimekko

Kiitosmarimekko

Although I do wish Marimekko made more tailored pieces (I find them too poufy sometimes) I do really love their prints on clothing...so bold and graphic...

Oh I see what you mean about poufy...but that second one is WOW.

Some of the Marimekko pieces for Anthropologie are a bit less poufy :-)

Poufy works for me, I still haven't lost the pregnancy pudge. I'd love to hide behind some of these graphic eye-catchers.

The "poufy" clothing trend does not do it for me, either. However, that first dress is gorgeous & seems much more structured than the other two. I'm quite smitten with it, actually.

Thanks for sharing!

i love marimekko, but whenever i try on a marimekko pattern, i look like i'm drowning in it. at 4'11", it totally swallows me!

YESSSSS to the tunic.

LOVE the bl/wh Ikoni dress! (the 1st one)

I just ordered it online!

Thanks for the post! :)

All three are gorgeous, I must say. The outfit in the middle is to die for!

I love the dress!

Ahhh! The print on the on far right is also an anthroplogie top, it's on sale and I was just contemplating buying it last night! Too funny. (It's a little poufy, but not too bad.)

Very nice.

Marimekko is so lovely! The patterns & colors make such bold statements.

Have you seen the Marimekko-inspired pieces at H&M? I found a v.v. cool black and white linen shift dress there. They also have a bunch of bright patterns on scarves and other accessories. Love the pops of pattern and color!

ya, once you've worn maternity, you're always a tad fearful of 'poufy'
