I took a quick jaunt to Williamsburg, Brooklyn this weekend to visit the newly opened Mast Brothers Chocolate shop. The spacious shop is simple and sweet with a touch of rustic charm in the exposed wooden beams. Right now they only sell their infamous {and beautifully packaged} chocolate bars, but more to come soon. You can see their huge kitchen in the back which is both beautiful and inspiring. I picked up these three flavors...hispaniola, dried cranberry, and almond sea salt..yum!

I am in love with their packaging, every time I go to Urban Rustic in Williamsburg I buy their chocolate. I am excited to visit their new shop!

I think I'd buy the chocolate more for it's package design rather than the for the wholesome 'pms cure' goodness itself...i LOVE their wrapping!!! Thanks for sharing! I'm going to hit this place up when I visit NY.

Wow! Awesome wrapping job. Makes you wonder why Hershey's can't do that too.

I think I would buy these chocolates for the packaging alone. OK- the flavors sound pretty good!

It would be wonderful to see photos of the actual store - I am in Australia so popping down there is not so easy! Keep up the fantastic blog - you are my morning inspiration before I start my day designing - I call you my 'breath of fresh air '! x

hey melissa,
they are $7 or 3 for $20. i'm sure they'd be open to phone orders or be able to refer you to one of their retailers who will!

i love how the packaging itself is always reason enough to purchase something completely unnecessary :-)

What's brilliant about it is that the paper is just store bought paper (at least I'm pretty sure it is.. I know I've seen 2 of those prints at Kate's Paperie).. so they are using existing wrapping paper, wrapping their bars, and then just adding their sticker/label.
It's so simple and brilliant, and I wish I had thought of it!

their bars are wrapped so beautifully...any idea who does the packaging for them? i've never seen such a pretty sweet treat before!

I would live to hear more about the chocolate! I agree
the packaging is exceptional, but does their chocolate exceed expectations!
