Here's a tiny sneak peek at a very special Alexander Girard collection launching at Urban Outfitters in July! The Alexander Girard for Urban Outfitters collection will consist of bed linens, printed cushions, drapes, shower curtains, a few original classic Girard prints and more. I don't know how I feel about this. I love Alexander Girard's work and have been deeply influenced by it. While UO does fill the cheap and cheerful fix will all need sometime...I hate the idea of Girard's images being slapped on some cheap stuff made in China and essentially becoming the novelty of the moment. I hope I'll be pleasantly surprised and UO does something great.
