A couple weekends ago...we had a fried chicken weekend like no other. My new favorite Friday ritual is to get a picnic lunch or dinner at Broome St. General for their fried chicken Friday special! Made by Cube, it's one of my favorite chickens of the fried variety in LA. Accompanied by a light and lovely burrata, tomato, and peach salad...this combo is summer in a basket!

The very next day, we feasted on a basket of Korean Fried Chicken {the other KFC!} at Bon Chon. It's total Korean fast food and seriously delicious. My favorite wings are spicy and sweet option. Accompanied by some grilled dok boki and cubed pickled radishes to combat the heat, it's like a crunchier, sweeter, spicier version of Buffalo wings! Needless to say, my belly and my baby seemed pretty happy...— Joy
