oh joy {eats} take a bao in studio city...

I love it when restaurants take traditional things and give them a new, fancy twist. Take a Bao recently opened the restaurant version of their original outpost. I LOVE traditional Chinese bao steamed buns {light & fluffy perfection}, and their version using the bao bread to make a medley of tiny sandwiches is so fun.

In addition to bao sandwiches, items like Thai fried chicken, Drunken Noodles, Tofu Popcorn, and Korean Bi Bim Bop short rib bowls round out the menu for a great casual spot with hints of Asian influence.

...and let's not forget dessert...roasted bananas, nutella, marshmallows, and chopped hazelnuts on a cinnamon sugared bun? Yes, please... — Joy
