3 Fun Easter Baskets!
7 Mar 2017
I love Easter baskets. They are a great way to treat those you love with something special as part of a memorable tradition. Easter always feels like such a lovely kick-off to spring so today, we've partnered with premium chocolate brand, Lindt (one of my favorite iconic chocolate brands), to give you inspiration for three different Easter basket ideas. Each basket includes some of my favorite Lindt Easter chocolates. Take a look!
1. For a friend —You might not normally think to make an Easter basket for a friend. But it's another excuse to show your pal how much you love them. To switch it up from traditional baskets, you can use a vintage scarf to line a gold wire basket (both are items they can use again), add some gold shred, and fill with a mix of premium chocolate such as a Lindt GOLD BUNNY and Lindt Bugs and Bees as well as colorful accessories like sunglasses, bracelets, or cute desk items. Finally, top it off with some stir sticks and a handmade tassel to make it feel extra festive.
2. For kids — For this basket, we used a mini colander as the basket (which they'll love reusing it to hold toys). To make shred for the bottom of the basket in a variety of colors, use leftover wrapping paper cut fine with a paper shredder. Then, add chocolate like these adorable Lindt Chocolate Carrots, small toys, crayons, and maybe even a pair of cute sunnies. Top it off with some decorative sticks. If you want to decorate the colander, you can wrap the handles with rope and paint the base in a contrast color.
3. Mini Baskets — For teachers, co-workers, classmates or anytime you need to make a lot of small gifts, mini baskets are just perfect. We loved using these small containers because they are stackable for when you need to transport and hand out a whole bunch, and the containers can be used again for so many different things. You can skew it for an adult or for a child based on how you fill it or decorate it. For this one, we focused on adding a variety of chocolate such as these Lindt Little Chick figures on top of gold shred. We used this resin technique to decorate the lids with glitter, but you could also draw or paint on the lid.
I hope these inspire you to put together some personal, stylish, and delicious baskets for those you love to help make their Easter celebrations even more special!
