color adventures: oh joy wears yellow and pink!
25 Apr 2017

For our final yellow and pink Color Adventures for this month, I've put together four outfits in various shades of these two very happy colors. Here are four outfits from casual to dressy that will put an instant smile on your face! See them all right here...

1. Casual Chic—I love outfits that can go from super laid back (ie. jeans and a tee) to dressy and chic in seconds simply by adding a blazer and some heels. I love the bell sleeves on this blazer which make it feel a little more fun than a typical straight sleeve.

2. Rainy Day—For the first time in my adult life, I invested in a rain coat after a very rare rainy season we had earlier this spring here in Los Angeles. I am very aware that this full outfit might not be one you could wear on a rainy day in any other city, but for LA—where the rain comes and goes—a rain jacket goes with just about everything!

3. Sunny Afternoon—Here's an easy, yet colorful, dress that has both pink and yellow in it. The solid colors come in with the accessories with the fun, round pink bag and pop of yellow from the heels. This dress could also go super casual with flats or sandals!

4. Bold Business—This is the outfit you wear when you're going into a meeting and want to land that project or job! It's bold in color, yet the tailored pant suit feels sophisticated. I topped it off with a vintage jacket to add some pattern and to contrast with the bright magenta.
