A Thanksgiving Gourd-a-copia / Oh Joy!

It's hard to believe Thanksgiving is exactly ONE WEEK from today! No matter how far along you are in your holiday prepping and planning, this DIY is a super fun update on the cornucopia that you can easily make before the big day. We're calling it the gourd-a-copia! (Who remembers our cone-a-copia from a few years back?!) Here's how to make it, plus, some inspiration for a non-traditional Thanksgiving table...

To decorate the pumpkins and gourds, we painted them in solid colors, then added white dabs/dots as desired. The nice thing about painting a pattern like this is it's easy to do no matter your level of painting skills. Once they are dry, arrange them inside a cornucopia along with fall flowers, leaves, and disco balls for added texture and sparkle. There's really no rules here, so have fun with it and make it your own!

To take it one step further when setting the table, we used a similar color palette to the pumpkins in pastels, grey, and white...
