Pattern Adventures: A Stripe Living Room!

March is almost over, but before it goes, we have our last Pattern Adventures of the month: a stripe living room! Stripes are such a classic print, but you don't often see multiple stripe pieces mixed together in one space. So today, we're showing you how you can do just that while still keeping the space sophisticated and fun. Here's how...

Stripes can create a bold statement to any room or any outfit. It's a nice neutral pattern to ease into that works well mixed in with other patterns because of the simple and clean lines. So if you're just starting to dabble with pattern, stripes are a good place to start!

We opted for a bold, thick stripe for the rug and curtains and kept it neutral in black and white. The tasseled striped pillows add a fun pop of color while adding in texture and keeping to the stripe theme. Because the pillows have minima striping, they work with the rug without being too overwhelming.

We chose this sage wall color because it grounds the room and adds some cool tones to the black and white. Because black and white stripes can really pack a punch and create more of a modern look, pairing it with a rich wall color can help make it feel more cozy.

Now, are you ready to add stripes to your living room?
