New York Fashion Week began on Friday and continues through this week! I'll be posting a few of my favorite runway looks over the course of the week, but here's a peak at the exterior of this season's tent at Bryant Park created by Almeter Design. This season's graphics were inspired by the creative exploration and inspiration behind the collections. Emphasizing a return to the soul of the shows, Bryant Park has become a giant inspiration board this season. Sketches and swatches by Dennis Basso, Erin Fetherston, Rebecca Taylor, Tadashi Shoji, Terexov and Verrier are part of the Fall 09 theme.

This season's New York Fashion Week (which started this past Friday) has a fun political theme to it with this season's tent and event signage. No matter who you're actually voting for, this season’s graphics asks fashionistas and New Yorkers to “Vote Fashion” and join the party.

New York Fashion week is almost coming to an end..here are a few of my favorites from the past week in addition to these posted over at Bluelines. Some common overall themes with ready-to-wear...skinny contrast belts, die-cut edges and cut-outs, 3-D forms, greys & blacks mixed with muted jewel tones, pumpkin/rust as a popular hue, and metallics are still popular as ever.

New York Fashion Week is in full swing! So, I'll be posting some of my favorite looks from the Fall runways over the next week. BCBG Max Azria's Fall 07 collection has a gorgeous mix of muted earth tones with tone-on-tone metallics. Also, check out some of the black & gold dresses {not shown here} that are lovely as well...
