impromptu fashion... 24 Jun 2010

...love these photos shot by Lee Clower during Cynthia Rowley's Resort 2011 show. In honor of the travel theme, the show took place in front of the Condé Nast building on the sidewalk in Times Square. So the editors simply came downstairs to see the show. In the meantime, Lee {and the runway models} set up an impromptu backdrop on the back of a parked bus. I love these fun, spur-of-the-moment images that resulted...

goodbye bryant park, hello lincoln center... 11 Feb 2010

Since 1993, New York Fashion Week has been held in the tents at Bryant Park. This fashion week {which starts today} marks the last season of the tents at Bryant Park before they move to Lincoln Center next season. The tent design, created by Almeter Design, offers a poignant and graphic homage to this venue with quotes from notables in the fashion industry and their sweet memories of Bryant Park.
