Love the mix of utilitarian and feminine details in these bags by Bangkok-based Quote Bag Studio...
Leaving you today with this great Love ring by Chutapat Wittaya...have a great weekend + happy easter!
I just came back from a wedding-full weekend of three weddings in three different cities, one of which I was in. So I am finally slowing down on wedding season {hooray}...but had to share these lovely photos with you I just came across by Robert Sukrachand of Yuli & Keith's Upstate New York wedding...all the little details are amazing...

Some of the best work are concepts that haven't actually made it to market...like these chocolate concepts by Charita Patamikakorn of Koolgirlposse.

I always love seeing brands from Thailand in the American market..,like these Karmakamet hand-poured Thai candles. I love the hand-stamped look of the packaging like they've been unearthed from an expedition. There isn't much information yet about the line on their website, but it looks like they may be tied into the Karmakamet Aromatic Hotel opening in August in Koh Samui, Thailand...sounds divine. The Siamese Jasmine Rice scent reminds me of childhood and rice being made in the kitchen. The candles are available right here...
New York Fashion week is almost coming to an end..here are a few of my favorites from the past week in addition to these posted over at Bluelines. Some common overall themes with ready-to-wear...skinny contrast belts, die-cut edges and cut-outs, 3-D forms, greys & blacks mixed with muted jewel tones, pumpkin/rust as a popular hue, and metallics are still popular as ever.

...in Nuj Novakhett's Spring 2008 collection...
The Library hotel in Koh Samui, Thailand combines semi-minimalist architecture with clean and witty interiors. {via Design Mind}
Being Thai American, I'm always thrilled to hear about Thai designers making a name for themselves in the US. I love the feminine tailoring of Nuj Novakhett who debuted her line in New York last Spring. And, the {sigh} photos! What could be better than sweet & chic dresses mixed with vintage airplanes, cars, and a printed graphic gate... {Thanks to Rowina for sending the link!}
