I love the selection of goods at the online shop Chocosho...bedding from Atelier Baraque, jewelry by Erica Weiner, tees by Moonblood, jackets from Mike & Chris {whom I posted about yesterday}...and more great pieces by other emerging and independant designers. {ps. their logo is cool, too.}
I'm loving the alternative hoodie silhouettes from Mike & Chris. So comfy and chic. The dark & slightly grainy photos on their website are really lovely too...
After leaving New York and moving to Philly two years ago, Beth came up with the idea to do an exchange box to help make up for not seeing each other all the time. We'd send each other random things that we've collected and the box would just randomly show up whenever. No set intervals or expectations. But I love the days when I do get the box and see the wonderful little things Beth has sent! Here are a few goodies I received yesterday {oh, and the inside lid has illustrations we each found that is supposed to look like the other person...}
pop ink has the cutest boxes of soap ever. boxes of soap + a set of melamine plates = a fun housewarming gift...

I read about the London shop Couverture in Living Etc. magazine recently and love their whimsical, vintage, and handmade selection of goods. The shop also has a small collection that sells online and ships overseas! The tea cosy (in all four colors) makes me especially happy...
I came across these tiny notes from dsix design over the weekend and love the simple and sweet messages they send. Notes are grouped into collections like "i will" which lists good deeds or tasks to accomplish and "i.o.u" which gives a lucky recipient some well-deserved time. They also come with the tiniest envelopes...
Thanks to Marie Claire magazine for their super nice mention of Oh Joy! in the January 2007 issue.
