I'm loving these figurative pieces by Dallas Shaw from her collection, Dirty Pop!
I love these paper goods made of recycled and re-used vintage cards, books, and fabrics. Amy of Art School Girl specializes in one-of-a-kind handmade paper goods... {thanks dawn!}
I love the assortment of functional and decorative pieces from Pedlars...these small pieces are so simple and whimsical...
I love these new pillows from Jennifer of Soft Goods. This Philadelphia-based designer makes a variety of plush pieces for the home...from stuffed, modern animals for kids to chic vintage-inspired pillows for adults...
As always, Kate Spade does color so well...these primary colored pieces feel so fresh and just right for summer...
For those of you in Philly, our Ladies Biz Meetings are now open again to anyone who would like to network with other girls in the area who currently own creative-based businesses or are looking to start a small business in the near future. The group is made up mostly of designers, crafters, and artists...but there are also writers, shop owners, and more. The meet-ups occur once a month at Art Star.
At each meeting, we have a speaker from the Philadelphia area who talks about experiences with their particular business, shares tips & advice, and answers any questions we may have for them. It's a great way to learn from those who have more experience and also meet other women who are currently going through the same steps in starting a small creative-based business. If you're in the area and are interested in coming to the next meeting, please email me at: info{at}ohjoystudio{dot}com and you'll be added to the group list! Poster artist Eleanor Grosch, whose work can be seen at Urban Outfitters and on Keds shoes, will be speaking at April's meeting.

Rose and Radish has a cool new gallery that just debuted last week. The Urban show is filled with design inspired by metropolitan settings for a mix of street and sophisticated chic. A graffiti-inspired installation by artist Kate Durkin fills the walls. {I love that large tree!} Rose and Radish has also recently launched their Sixty Forty Print Club which showcases one print per show in which proceeds benefit a charity as well as the artist. Check out Rose and Radish's new blog for more info...
