fun new show: dress my nest

Dressmynest

I started watching the new show, Dress My Nest on the Style Network and am loving it. Each episode is inspired by one girl's favorite outfit to create a new look for her apartment. I've always been a fan of Thom Filicia and think he's the perfect designer to host this show...it reminds me of Domino's "turn this outfit into a room" editorials which I love. Even though the outfit-to-apartment translation may not work for those with significant others or roomates with much different tastes, the ideas behind it can inspire new ideas for any space.

float away

I love things that bring thoughts of summer. Float Designs has an amazing and wonderfully colorful collection of resort wear. Designer and owner, Ramona Ann Senese, was inspired by 1960's beachwear and a laid back luxe attitude. All prints are designed exclusively for Float by artist Jessica Ritter.

artfool

I have a new design crush...Artfool...the New York based event, floral, retail, and graphic design studio. Artfool's work has been seen featured in some of the top wedding and home magazines. The photos of florals and event design look absolutely stunning. A recent editorial features {one of my favorites} Ann Wood's birds! This studio does it all...

r.wood's ideas for creative living

I could browse through the R.Wood Studio site all day! This ceramic studio in Georgia has an amazing section called ideas for creative living which track their inspirations, destinations, and more...tons of images for every season that are just gorgeous! Many of them shot by Rinne Allen who I posted about a couple weeks ago. Here are some images below from a country wedding they recently collaborated on. Also, see the one-of-a-kind ceramics Rebecca Wood and her fellow artists have to offer...
