...light, crisp, and perfectly pretty...by Margaret & Joy. Their food films are amazing, too.
As I was doing research this morning for a new project I'm working on, I came across this amazing sketchbook/blog called Friends of Type. Run by four super-talented graphic and type designers, it's an amazing chronicle of beautiful and fun type explorations shared between friends.
I love mix and match dinnerware {like my Block Chromatics plates} so I'm loving these utensils from Rice. They also make super fun bowls and cups in a ton of colors...
When I got the Sartorialist book a few months ago, {surprisingly} the mens' looks stood out most as some of my favorite images and those I was most inspired by. One of my favorites was this look {top} of a man who always wears a tiny flower boutonnière in his lapel buttonhole. From far away, you'd never notice it, but close up, it just makes me smile...without being too flashy. Not sure if Oh Bob would rock it, but this fabric version by Emersonmade {bottom} is also super cool.
Dear Salted Caramel,
As a child I never found myself drawn to caramel corn. While other kids saved their pennies for Cracker Jacks, I much preferred snacks of other sorts. However, in some miracle sent from the popcorn gods, you've given me that child-like penchant for the sweet & salty snack, whacked it on the head, and cast a magical spell upon it with concoctions of bacon and bourbon. Sweet, salty, savory, melty, crunchy, and rich–your bacon bourbon caramel corn is simply magical. Move over salted nuts and chips, there's a new, fancier party snack in town.
Yours truly,
Happy Lady (5 out of 5 happy ladies, indeed!)
