Confetti Cookie Bites

With the holiday season about to kick off in full force, we're thinking about edible delights to make for gifts or for guests visiting this holiday. Confetti makes me think of celebrations and merriment. So why not give your loved ones an edible version with these mini cookies that are like edible confetti! You won’t be able to stop them from eating these snack-sized gems. See below for more...

You’ll need:

- sugar cookie dough (homemade or store-bought)

- mini cookie cutters

- assorted sugar sprinkles

Confetti Cookie Bites

Here's how:

1. Start with sugar cookie dough (scraps from a larger cookie batch are perfect) and roll out to about ¼ inch thickness on a floured surface.

2. Use a small cookie cutter to cut out as many cookies as possible from the dough and place on a parchment paper-lined cookie sheet.

3. Dust the cookies with different colored sugar sprinkles, being careful that each cookie is only 1 color.

4. Bake at 350 degrees for 5 minutes. Do not let the cookies turn brown—they are so thin that this would be an indication that they are getting too crispy.
