No longer are the days of typical nurseries and stereotyped color schemes. Many parents love decorating a nursery in a way that feels more chic, sophisticated, and like a space that a baby can grow with. So today, we have a tropical-inspired nursery for you and your babe! Tropical rooms can sometimes feel a little kitschy, but this space brings it in a few beautiful ways while making me want to go a vacation ;) Take a look...
Gender-neutral colors. We love that this vibe can work for both boys and girls. We used lots of shades of yellow and green for this space to give it that lush tropical vibe. The leaf rug brings all the colors together, and the bright yellow chair adds a playful pop of color.
Hints of the theme. To avoid getting matchy-matchy or too thematic, we added in fun little elements throughout the space to tie back to the tropical theme—like this fun leaf cut-out on the bookshelf.
Prints that can change eventually. A great piece of art that ties into the theme (like this coral reef photo on the wall) serves as a beautiful way to make a statement. But because it's not wallpaper or anything too permanent, it allows the flexibility to add to it or swap it out over time should you chose to change up the room at some point!
