I've spent the last three days in San Francisco working on a short film for my book, Creative Inc., with Meg Ilasco coming out soon. We used a lot of primary colors in the wardrobe and the props so I'm totally feeling these new primary-colored summer necklaces by Elva Fields.

{studio tour} with ban.do...part 1

Bando-studio1

On Friday, I took a day trip to LA and stopped by the Ban.do studio to catch up with the hilarious and super fun Jaime and Jen in person. If you know their work, their studio is what you might already imagine it to be...and then even better. Color upon texture upon stacks of material and baubles–a bejeweled space it certainly is. There were so many great vignettes to share, so here's part 1 with peeks at their inspiration and materials...stay tuned for part 2 coming next with a special something for Oh Joy readers, too.
