For the last few years, I've worked with interns to assist with the design work at my studio. Previously, they worked mostly for the studio and helped occasionally with the blog. But I've recently decided to bring on Bekka Palmer as our first blog-only intern. She sent me the best cover letter I've ever read, so I was crazy not to meet with her. Bekka will be contributing to various parts of the Oh Joy blog and assist mostly with our "this & that" column.
Here's a little more about Bekka:...surprisingly budget-friendly pieces from marc by marc jacobs (all here under $50!)
...from Damien Correll's amazing illustration portfolio...
...so gorgeous...from Chanel's Spring/Summer 09 show...
...and French culinary designer Julie Rothhahn's edible creations...
...like this Seconds series by Jason Miller...
{also, a BIG thanks to my winter interns, Lindsay and Lizzie, whose favorite things you've seen here from time-to-time over the last few months! Today, I'm welcoming back Andrea, my summer intern who is back for another semester as she finishes up her senior year. Andrea will be contributing some of her favorites finds while she interns with my studio for the next few months..so stay tuned!}
